Pull-ups or push-ups
Pull-ups can earn 100 points. Push-ups are capped at 70 points.
Calculate your 2026 Marine Corps PFT score by age and sex, including altitude, rowing, recruit, and combat-arms requirements.
Calculator instructions
Match the form to the conditions of your test, enter the raw event results, and review both the base PFT classification and any separate combat-arms requirement.
Choose recruit or Marine/candidate status, PMOS, sex, age group, and elevation.
Select pull-ups or push-ups, then enter the plank and run or row result.
Check event points, total out of 300, PFT class, and combat-arms status.
Scoring method
Each event receives points from the published table for the selected age group, sex, and elevation. The three event scores are added for a total out of 300. Passing the base PFT requires at least 150 total points and the minimum performance in every event. See the official Marine Corps PFT scoring tables for the published event standards.
Pull-ups can earn 100 points. Push-ups are capped at 70 points.
One age- and sex-neutral table awards 40–100 points from 1:10 to 3:45.
Faster times earn more points under sex-, age-, and altitude-specific tables.
Eligible Marines use age-, sex-, and altitude-specific five-second scoring rows.
Minimum and maximum standards
These compact charts show the performance range from the minimum passing event result to the 100-point result. Push-up maximums earn 70 points. Intermediate performances receive the corresponding official table score.

The minimum is 1:10 for 40 points. A hold of 3:45 earns 100 points for every age group and sex.
At or above 4,500 feet, use the dedicated altitude run and row tables by selecting that elevation in the calculator.
A total alone does not guarantee passage. Every event must meet its minimum. These are the official 235/200/150 classification thresholds—not unofficial fitness tiers.

Current policy
Beginning January 1, 2026, designated combat-arms PMOSs use the male age-normed scoring table and must achieve at least 210 points. A result from 150–209 can meet the base PFT threshold while remaining below the required combat-arms standard. Review the MARADMIN 613/25 combat-arms PFT policy for the affected PMOSs and 2026 requirements.
Recruits use the 17–20 scoring group regardless of actual age. Officer candidates, Basic and Warrant Officer Course students, and covered midshipmen use the age group matching their age.

Essential answers about Marine Corps PFT events, scoring, and current standards.
Select the profile, PMOS, sex, age group, upper-body event, aerobic event, and test elevation that apply. Enter repetitions and event times; the calculator matches each result to the Marine Corps scoring standard and adds the three event scores for a total out of 300.
The PFT has three scored events: pull-ups or push-ups, the forearm plank, and a three-mile run. Eligible Marines may use the 5,000-meter row instead of the run.
A standard PFT requires at least 150 total points and the minimum performance in every event. Missing one event minimum fails the PFT regardless of the total score.
First class is 235–300 points. Second class is 200–234 points, and third class is 150–199 points, provided every event minimum is met.
Yes. Pull-up, push-up, run, and row standards vary by age group. The plank uses one age- and sex-neutral table. Recruits are scored with the 17–20 age group regardless of their actual age.
Yes. Tests conducted at or above 4,500 feet use the Marine Corps altitude tables for the three-mile run and 5,000-meter row. The calculator applies those tables when the altitude option is selected.
Marines age 46 and older may select the 5,000-meter row instead of the three-mile run. Marines age 45 and younger may row when recommended by a Privileged Health Care Provider for a medical condition or post-partum status and approved by the CO/OIC.
Beginning January 1, 2026, Marines in the combat-arms PMOSs listed by MARADMIN 613/25 are scored with the male age-normed table and must achieve at least 210 points. A score from 150–209 may meet the base PFT threshold but does not meet the combat-arms standard.
No. Pull-ups can earn up to 100 points, while push-ups are capped at 70 points. Selecting push-ups limits the highest possible total to 270 points.
No. It is an independent planning estimate generated from published scoring standards. Verify official results with your command and the current Marine Corps system of record.
